Technical Skiing Camps
As the crisp winter approaches or the spring sun bounces down and reflects off the snow, now is the time to brush up on your basic skiing skills. Once we have achieved this it is time to educate and coach you with new technique so you may tackle any condition of snow at any time. Ski Coaching Clinics are designed to allow individuals to get access to quality and specific ski coaching, in order to realize a lasting improvement in their personal performance.
During our clinics, you can learn at your own speed and gain the necessary skills to start your next skiing trip with the best possible foundations.
All the clinics are designed to give the participants the best opportunity to improve their performance and enjoyment of skiing.
The clinics will have technical, tactical and psychological foci according to the needs and goals of the individuals in the group, whilst ensuring that the most important outcome is enjoyment. The choice of terrain will be chosen wisely so we can take advantage of the best conditions available on the mountain at the time.
We have heard so many times "I would love to get better and I know there are things for me to learn but ski school is not for me!"
Well this is just the package for you. We have chosen to use a coaching style of teaching. This allows you to be covering a lot more kms and also allows you time to experiment, fine tune and put everything into practice that’s needed to improve your skiing.
Throughout your week with us we will aim to cover the 5 basic aspects of skiing long carving turns, short carving turns, bumps, steeps and variables.
Sometimes we need to fine tune and create a better range of movement the best way to do this is through dry land training that will be carried out every afternoon.
Throughout the day we will constantly be videoing you’re skiing and will be playing it back every evening for group/personal video analyses.
A average day will consist of 4 hrs on snow 1hr dry land training 1 hr video analysis’
Who is this for?
This clinic is aimed at people who already feel comfortable making parallel turns with a consistent flow on red slopes and the personal drive to improve.
