Scheffau Ski and Snowboard School

Little known to international skiers, Scheffau is a well kept secret to the locals. The reason being that the village sits on the northern facing slopes ensuring that it always has plenty of snow! The traditional village sprang up as farmers settled on the gentle slopes under the Brandstadl mountain, now leading to the massive Ski Welt ski area, ensuring that all levels of skiing ability are catered for on the mountains above the village.

Black Sheep Ski's ski school Scheffau offers the full range of ski and snowboard lessons from beginner to advanced in either discipline, ensuring that you get the most from your time on the slopes. How about learning to carve those graceful moves? If you can ski parallel on red slopes you can carve turns!

Söll, one of the connected villages of the Skiwelt (Austria's largest connected ski resort) is even bigger.

Now the Skiwelt (Ellmau, Hopfgarten, Scheffau, Soll, Westendorf) is connected to Kitzbühel (Kirchberg, Kitzbühel) and its neighbouring ski resorts with the help of 2 gondolas connecting Brixen to Westendorf and Westendorf to Kirchberg this makes it now the 3rd largest connected ski resort in the world.

The ski resorts Kaprun, Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Zell Am See are also connected through a ski pass called the allstarcard www.allstarcard.at

Snowboard Lessons

From basic snowboarding lessons, to advanced extreme snowboarding, our snowboard school instructors are qualified to help you learn the joys of this extreme sport.

Snowboard rentals and equipment hire is also available, so all you have to do is enjoy the experience.
