Ski Lessons

Black Sheep Ski operates its ski lessons on a private and group basis. Private lessons are very worth while. What we can teach an average beginner in 2 hours of private lessons, equates to 10 hours in a overcrowded ski school group. This type of lesson comes at a slighty higher rate, but the personal tuition you receive and the progress you make is well worth the extra money. Are prices will not be beaten. We also offer group lessons for friends or families on holiday together of similar standard. The lead person will pay the full private prices and additional group members will each pay 10 Euros per hour. This also includes full Black Sheep Ski benefits and discounts, quoted on all pricing catergories.

Skiing has undergone a positive development over the past few years with equipment advances and a more relaxed attitude to make it more widely accessible. With Black Sheep Ski coaching and guidance, we guarantee that you'll master the basics of the sport and get to explore the beauty of the mountains with confidence and good technique.

Classic Skiing
Classic skiing is what we like to call “school skiing” which we follow to the strict international guideline. Classic skiing is a very relaxed and elegant way of skiing. This is the method learnt when on skis for the first time. When enough confidence is built, then skiing on any piste is not impossible. Modern day ski technique is nothing like the bend z knees of the 1980's. At Black Sheep Ski we combine techniques with bio mechanics to help the learner understand what they need to be doing to get the most out of there equipment. Thus ensuring that beginners have a better learning experience.

Technical Skiing
For those who already ski there are definitely more reasons to try and reach a higher level in your skiing ability. Technical skiing is what we start to learn after mastering classic skiing. We follow an international guideline, but teaching is a more personalised programme. Over the last ten years technology with skis has rapidly changed making skiing nowadays much easier for the various disciplines. You must appreciate with the new technology comes new techniques. Technical lessons are designed to teach you to ski on any terrain at any time.

Snowboard Lessons

Fun, progression, the beauty of the mountains, that unique feeling of gliding through bottomless powder snow. The freedom of surfing the mountain. Going where you want to go, the challenge of pushing your limits. Learning new tricks in man-made and natural features and getting creative on the mountains with your friends. Snowboarding is the perfect sport for getting into flow, and the first steps are some of the most enjoyable. Mastering the art of sliding.

Beginners
From your first day on the snow, you'll learn to side slip on both edges, link your turns and stop in a controlled way. You will be comfortable on blue runs and get on and off lifts with ease.

Intermediates
We'll start improving your carving turns with speed, and help you conquer groomed runs. Maybe you need to get started on powder or get feeling more comfortably riding switch, or how about exploring the parks and experiencing some airtime.

Advanced
You should now be at a level where you have your own riding style and are comfortable over the whole mountain. Powder is a must, its the best feeling in the world. We'll seek places with you, where others haven't. We can push you in the park, learning new moves, try different grabs and rotations, and play on all the features the park has to offer including boxes and rails.
