Skiing Holiday Resort Austria

Ski Resort Info > Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is a unique, atmospheric town steeped in skiing history, and host to the world famous Hahnenkamm world cup downhill race that takes place every year in January. With 160 km of piste spread over the Pengelstein, Kitzbuheler Horn, Jochberg and Pass Thurn areas, it offers challenging skiing and snowboarding for all levels.

Strong intermediate skiers and snowboarders will find plenty of challenges and will relish the prospect of cruising most of the runs during their stay. Experts should head for Jochberg and Pass Thurn on powder days and the bowls at the back of Pengelstein. Whilst novices can enjoy the gentle, sunbathed slopes on the Kitzbüheler Horn.

The lively, fashionable feeling of diversity in one of the prettiest alpine towns is simply impossible to resist. This is the natural home of winter in all its glory. Colourful medieval buildings, archways and cobbled streets full of character and stylish shops make up the pedestrianised resort centre. The resort has an international and vibrant feel with a lively après-ski scene.
