(Please NB some apartments charge extra persons fee if more than 3 or 4 people and is very common to be charged a cleaning fee per apartment at the end of your stay).
Kaprun has a population of about 3000 people and the capability of sleeping 5000 guests so as you can imagine the village is not too big.
Nearly all accommodation would not be more than a 5-10 minute walk from the village centre where all the shops and bars are located.
Nearly all accommodation has a Ski bus stop no more than 1 or 2 minutes distance away to take you to and from the slopes every day.
Most Accommodation have ski cellars for your skis and boots but the most common trend is to leave your skis and boots underneath the gondola in a lock up for only a few Euros.
Kaprun is a very sort after popular ski resort with a long season due to being a high resort and is increasing with tourists every year and in peak times, Christmas week, half term and Easter it is very hard to find accommodation.
Black Sheep Ski's recommendation is to book well in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
